The French and Indian War
September 8th-11th we will be looking at the french and Indian War, and how the American Revolution stems directly from this conflict. We will examine the causes and examine the role a young George Washington played in the start of the war. Students will examine primary documents about the start of the war by placing Lieutenant Colonel George Washington on trial for the murder of a French officer in his care. We will also choose our projects for this unit of study. Students will learn the vocabulary for the unit, and have the first flipped classroom lecture assignment (due Wednesday)
